In an effort to promote creativity and individuality, KMHS club pictures this year will be taken by the individual clubs. For clubs to be featured, the yearbook staff needs to receive the club photo by October 25th along with the names of those students featured in the club itself. Parents, please make sure your students are attending their upcoming club meetings so they don’t miss out on being included in the picture!
School picture make-up day is on Thursday, September 21st in the media center during all lunches. This is for students who missed the picture days or those who bought a package and wish to have a re-take. Students will need to bring their original package to school on make-up day if they want a re-shoot.

The mission of MUST Ministry’s Save It Forward program is to eliminate hunger for at-risk students in local schools so they have a greater opportunity to succeed. We partner with schools by providing food and toiletries to children and families in need through the KMHS campus-based food pantry program. Save It Forward (SIF) works very closely with the school social worker to identify children and families in crisis and serve them on a monthly basis throughout the year. One of the unique things about our program is how we empower the community to stock the food pantries by coupon shopping. Please join us by picking up less than $6 of sale items on the weekly shopping list at Kroger or Publix at anytime during the year and dropping the items off to the collection bins in the KMHS front office by Monday each week you choose to donate. Thank you!
There is also an Adopt-A-Family program. This is a one time or recurring donation to help feed hungry kids and their families. Donations of $12 per month or $144 per year help to provide a family in need 75 lbs of food and toiletries each month. Please donate used electronics!
We are recycling used electronics to raise funds to help with emergency KMHS student needs. Please bring to Mrs. Miller, school social worker in the front office. We will be collecting: cell phones, laptops, laser & inkjet cartridges (no refurbished), iPads/iPods, tablets/eReaders/notebooks.
